Our mission statement is that New Beginnings is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and sanctuary for Cats. Cats can roam freely and are not turned away for health reasons or adoptability.
We have committed ourselves to helping the cats that need us the most. With this philosophy, we do have some cats who will never be rehomed, and they will live their entire lives in comfort at our shelter.
2 of our fosters: Menace and Mayhem

Monday Meow!
This will be a weekly post where we feature one
of our wonderful kitties, who are up for adoption!
Pepper is another 1-year-old who loves exploring every square inch of the shelter. She loves to play fetch with toy springs. She wants to play with all the other cats.

Dusty Rose is a beautiful, 1-year-old cat who just wants a furever home to run around and play in! She is the coolest grayish/pink color and is the only one who runs on the cat wheel. And she has a curly tail tail curves over her back. She, too, lived with dogs at her foster home.

Friday Feline!

This will be a weekly post where we feature one of our fabulous kitties who are up for adoption!
Nado is about 3 years old; she was found wandering around our shelter and was caught just before a Tornado was spotted. Hence, the name! She is usually outside in the catio so often gets overlooked when visitors come in. She can be timid at first, but we believe with the right home and time to adjust, she will be a furry friend for life.

If you want double the fun, please check out Jarod and Jason; they are two brothers who play together non-stop and are huge fans of toys, especially balls. They play hard and cuddle together for a cat nap. At their foster mom's, they were raised with dogs.
They would love a home where they can run and play with a nice lounging area for those needed cat naps.
They are bonded and must be adopted together: twice the fun. And because we require they be adopted together, their fee is $180 for both (a $20.00 reduction)

Double the Fun with these two kittens!
Adoption
Lillith is still looking for her new furever home.

She is a beautiful 5-year-old kitty who's been living at the shelter for over 4 years.
She was found abandoned in an apartment with her five kittens, all of whom found new homes.
She loves playing with toys and like to greet people! If you think you might be able to give Lillith the home she deserves, come out to meet her.
Pepper is still looking for her furever home!

PEPPER!
She is an adorable 1-year-ole kitty who has so much spunk and energy! She is an expert at playing fetch - if you throw a toy, she will quickly chase it and bring it right back to you! And when she does finally stop playing, she curls up in the cutest and coziest ball to take a nap! She may be a small kitty, but she has a BIG personality.
If you think you might be able to give Pepper the furever home she so deserves, we encourage you to come out and meet her!
Leo is maybe 3-5 years old; he was surrendered a few years ago when his owner was having health issues and could no longer care for him. Although he has adjusted fairly well to shelter like, he tends to get a little overstimulated by the other cats. He often stands for the door to his room watching everyone walking by, hoping he might get chosen one day. He would love a quieter home with people who will give him the time and space he needs, but also the attention he deserves!
Please consider adopting a really sweet cat, Leo

Tiana would love to be your new best friend

This sweet little darker calico is 12 years young. She was adopted from us many years ago, but last year we received a call from a vet clinic up north stating that someone had brought her there to be euthanized because they could no longer care for her. They refused to euthanize her and one one our amazing board members drove up the next day to pick her up. She is a loving and affectionate girl who loves attention and being petted! It is our sincere hope that we can get her back into a furever home to live out the rest of her years.
